The northern tour visits sites connected to Escobar’s early steps in crime, his victims, and the place of his death—showing you areas that remain largely unexplored by most visitors.

Itinerary
- Former La Ladera Prison: The facility where Escobar served his first sentences in the 1970s and made the decision to begin his drug trafficking career. Today, the site has been transformed into a library park and sports arena that foster community development.
- San Pedro Cemetery: The city’s most prestigious cemetery, known for its luxurious mausoleums. Rumor has it that Escobar desecrated tombs here in his youth.
- Lovaina sector: An area where several of Escobar’s and his cousin Gustavo Gaviria’s criminal activities took place.
- Museum of Memory: A public museum with exhibits and personal stories of the victims of the Medellín Cartel. The museum is closed on Mondays (or Tuesdays when Monday is a holiday). If it is not open, events linked to Escobar will be explained in the surrounding area.
- Gustavo Gaviria’s neighborhood: The area where Escobar’s cousin and first partner lived. From here, they coordinated criminal activities, investments, and community projects—some of which can still be seen today.
- Place of Escobar's death: House where the kingpin was cornered and died (viewed from the outside).
